As we come to the end of the 2008 sports season, we turn our heads to the most prestigious event that we can offer our members. Yes, fast approaching is the 2008 Push And Power Awards Presentation Luncheon. On Sunday November 30, 2008 in the Wentworth Room of the Parramatta Leagues Club, we will gather together to honour the oustanding performances of our members throughout the year by giving them trophies, medallions and a gentle roasting. The one time of the year when you can get together with your fellow Push And Power members and team-mates in a relaxed social environment and enjoy a couple of hours of good company, good humour and good food rather than sweating it out in battle on the field of play. The doors to the Wentworth Room will open at 12:00pm with proceedings to kick of around 12:15pm after everyone is seated. Our estimated finishing time will be 3:00pm.

Invitations to members will be mailed out in the next week to the addresses provided to us when members signed up, so keep an eye on your mail boxes. Once the invites have been mailed out, the closing date for replies to be received will be last mail on Friday November 14 2008, so there will be plenty of time to let us know if you are coming. If you get in early, you will be guaranteed a place. Due to space considerations, numbers are limited to 120 persons.

Would you like to bring a friend or three to share in your enjoyment? Sure thing. As in previous years, members may bring up to 3 guests to the luncheon and the cost will be a very low $40 per guest. It is important that we know how many people are coming well before the day because we need to pay for all the meals in advance, so remember, once you have accepted your invitation and made any payments for your guests, we cannot obtain a refund on the costs of their meals from the leagues club.

As usual, there will be great food. Due to its popularity last year, we will once again be enjoying a buffet style lunch. Along with the usual crowd, a very special guest has been invited to attend and we are sure that there will be plenty of other things to entertain everyone at this years luncheon. This is the one event of the year you don't want to miss.
So, get in early and return your acceptances and any monies for your guest(s) back to us as soon as possible after you receive your invite and help make the day as much of a success as it has been in the past.
